SHIPPING POLICY
Sweatshop Tackle LLC · sweatshoptackle.com
Effective September 6, 2026
Thanks for fishing with Sweatshop Tackle. This policy explains how we process, pack, ship, and deliver orders
placed at sweatshoptackle.com. It covers our saltwater lures, live-bait stinger rigs, billfish hook sets, custom
squid dredges, and anything else in the catalog. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
Questions? Email customerservice@sweatshoptackle.com or call (904) 497-2378. Include your order number.
1. Where We Ship From
Orders are packed and shipped by Sweat Shop Tackle, LLC from our shop in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Most
parcels leave from the 32250 area and move through Jacksonville-area USPS, UPS, or FedEx facilities.
We ship to the United States, including P.O. Boxes (USPS methods only), and to international destinations that
appear as options at checkout. If a country is not offered at checkout, we do not ship there.
2. Order Processing Time
Processing time is the window between a paid order and the carrier’s first scan. It is separate from transit time.
• In-stock terminal tackle, lures, and hook sets: 1–2 business days after payment clears.
• 10-packs and mixed-color lure orders: 1–3 business days.
• Custom squid fishing dredges and other made-to-order gear: 5–10 business days, or the date shown on
the product page.
• Orders placed after 2:00 p.m. Eastern, or on weekends and U.S. federal holidays, start processing the
next business day.
Peak weeks — holiday gifts, spring kingfish season, and the run-up to billfish tournaments — can add a day or
two. We will post a notice on the store if a delay is expected. A business day is Monday through Friday,
excluding federal holidays.
Need it for a specific trip or tournament? Email us before you order with the date you must have the gear. We
will tell you honestly whether we can make it. Transit times are estimates, not guarantees, so build in buffer.
3. Shipping Methods and Transit Times
Available methods and exact rates are calculated at checkout from destination, package weight, and carton size.
The ranges below are typical for a standard tackle parcel leaving Jacksonville Beach. They are estimates, not
guarantees.
Contiguous United States (48 states)
Service Typical transit after first scan How it usually ships
Standard / Ground 3–7 business days USPS Ground Advantage, UPS Ground,

Service Typical transit after first scan How it usually ships
or equivalent
Priority / Expedited 2–3 business days USPS Priority Mail or UPS 2nd Day
Express / Overnight 1 business day USPS Priority Express, UPS Next Day, or
FedEx
Transit excludes Sundays and postal holidays. Rural routes and some Florida Keys, coastal, and island ZIP codes can add a
day.
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories
These destinations are available when they appear at checkout. Expect longer transit (often 5–12 business days)
and a higher rate than the contiguous 48. Overnight and two-day options are limited. Oversized items such as
custom dredges may require extra handling or may not be eligible for every service.
Canada and other international destinations
Service Typical transit after first scan Notes
Standard international 10–21 business days Tracking may drop after the parcel
leaves the U.S.
Priority / Express international 5–10 business days Offered only when the carrier serves
your country
Customs inspection and local postal partners can add days or weeks. We cannot control delays after the package leaves
Jacksonville Beach.
4. How Shipping Is Calculated
Shopify calculates shipping at checkout using the zones and rates we have configured. The amount you approve
at checkout is the amount you pay for that shipment, unless:
• You change the shipping address after purchase and the new zone costs more.
• The order ships in more than one carton (see Section 9).
• A custom or oversized item needs a freight or oversize quote. We will contact you before we ship.
Any free-shipping offer shown on the site, in an email, or at checkout applies only to the method marked free
and only to the destinations named in that offer. Free shipping does not automatically cover expedited service,
Alaska/Hawaii, territories, international orders, or oversized custom dredges unless the offer says so.
5. Carriers
We ship with USPS, UPS, FedEx, and/or Shopify Shipping, depending on destination and the service you paid for.
The carrier on your shipment confirmation email and tracking page is the one assigned to that order. We choose
the carrier that best fits the service level. We do not guarantee a specific carrier unless the checkout method
names one.

P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses ship USPS only. UPS and FedEx cannot deliver to a P.O. Box.
6. Confirmation, Tracking, and Delivery
You will get two emails from the store:
• Order confirmation — sent when payment is accepted.
• Shipping confirmation — sent when the label is created or the carrier scans the package, with a tracking
number and link.
Tracking can take 12–24 hours to populate after a label is created. “Label created” or “pre-transit” means the
label exists; it does not mean the carrier has the box yet.
Delivery is complete when the carrier marks the package delivered, left with a person, or left in a safe place
under the carrier’s rules. Watch the tracking page and your porch or dock box around the estimated date. We
are not responsible for packages stolen after the carrier marks them delivered. If porch theft is common where
you live, add a delivery note at checkout (gate code, dock box, “leave with marina office”) or ship to a carrier
pickup point.
7. Shipping Addresses
You are responsible for a complete, accurate shipping address. We ship to the address on the order when we
generate the label.
• Residential, commercial, marina, and tackle-shop addresses are all fine.
• P.O. Boxes: yes, on USPS methods only.
• APO, FPO, and DPO: yes, USPS only. Military mail can take 2–6 weeks and tracking is limited.
• We do not ship to freight forwarders or package-forwarding warehouses unless you accept all risk of loss
after the carrier’s first scan.
To change an address after you order, email customerservice@sweatshoptackle.com immediately with your
order number. We can update an address only if the label has not been created. After that you work with the
carrier, and extra fees may apply.
8. Signature and High-Value Orders
Orders over $250, custom squid dredges, and other high-value shipments may require a signature. If nobody is
available, the carrier will leave a notice and attempt redelivery on its schedule. Failed attempts that send the
parcel back to us are treated as undeliverable (Section 11). You are responsible for return freight if the address
and delivery window were valid.
9. Split Shipments, Backorders, and Custom Gear
If your cart mixes in-stock lures or rigs with a custom dredge or a backordered item, we may ship what is ready
and send the rest when it is finished. You will get a tracking number for each carton. We do not charge extra
shipping for a split unless we told you at checkout or you asked us to split the order.

Custom squid fishing dredges and other made-to-order items ship on the timeline on the product page. Because
they are built to order, they cannot be canceled after production starts and they are not returnable under our
Return Policy except for a verified defect or our error.
10. International Orders, Customs, Duties, and Taxes
If you order from outside the United States you are the importer of record. Your parcel may be assessed import
duties, VAT/GST, brokerage fees, and local taxes by the destination country.
• Unless checkout clearly shows duties paid (DDP), those charges are yours.
• We declare the real merchandise value — the price you paid. We will not mark a package as a “gift” or
understate value.
• Hooked terminal tackle and rigs can draw extra customs questions. Delays or seizures under local rules
are outside our control.
• If you refuse a package to avoid duties, it is treated as a refused shipment (Section 11). Merchandise
may be refunded minus original shipping and any return freight. Duties already paid to customs are not
refundable by us.
We do not ship to countries under applicable U.S. trade sanctions or to destinations our carriers will not serve.
11. Lost, Stolen, Damaged, Delayed, or Returned Packages
Delays
Transit times are estimates. Weather on the First Coast, carrier capacity, hurricanes, incorrect addresses, and
customs all cause delays. A delay is not grounds for a refund while the package is still moving. If tracking has not
updated for 10 business days (domestic) or 21 business days (international) after the first scan, email us and we
will open a carrier investigation.
Lost packages
A package is lost when the carrier confirms loss or when tracking has shown no movement for the investigation
window above. Once loss is confirmed we will, at our option, replace the order or refund the merchandise (and
shipping, if the loss was not caused by an address error).
Stolen packages
If tracking shows delivered and the box is gone, check the delivery area, neighbors, and marina or building staff
first. Then email us within 48 hours with the order number and, if you can, photos of the drop spot. We may file
a carrier claim. Replacement after a “delivered” scan is not guaranteed; we may offer a one-time courtesy
replacement for customers with a clean order history.
Damaged in transit
Inspect the carton when it arrives. Hooks, rigs, and dredge arms can shift if a box is crushed. If the product is
damaged, email customerservice@sweatshoptackle.com within 7 days of delivery with:
• Your order number.
• Photos of the outer box, inner packing, and the damaged item.

Sweat Shop Tackle, LLC · Jacksonville Beach, FL · Last updated September 6, 2026 Page 5 of 6
Keep all packaging until the claim is closed. We will replace the item, issue store credit, or refund once we verify
the damage. Do not throw the item away until we say so.
Undeliverable, refused, or unclaimed packages
Parcels come back when the address is wrong, the recipient refuses the box, a signature is missed, or a pickup
location is not collected in time. When the return reaches Jacksonville Beach we will email you. You may request
reshipment and pay the new shipping cost plus any carrier return fee. If we do not hear from you within 14 days
of that email, we will refund merchandise minus original outbound shipping and the carrier’s return postage, if
charged to us.
Opened line or leaders, custom-built items, and final-sale goods follow the non-returnable list in our Return
Policy and may not be refundable once they have left the shop.
12. Wrong Item or Missing Item
If we packed the wrong product or a line item is missing, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will send the
correct item at our expense or refund the missing item. Keep the incorrect item; we will send a prepaid label if
we need it back.
13. How Shipping Interacts with Returns
This page covers outbound shipping. Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our Return Policy at
sweatshoptackle.com/policies/refund-policy. The short version:
• Most unused items can be returned within 30 days of the delivery date on your tracking.
• You need an RMA from returns@sweatshoptackle.com before you ship anything back. Unauthorized
returns may be refused.
• We cover return shipping for defective, damaged-in-transit, or incorrect items. You cover return
shipping on all other returns.
• Original outbound shipping is refunded only when we made an error or the product was defective or not
as described.
• Opened or partially used fishing line, leaders, and monofilament or fluorocarbon spools are not
returnable.
• Custom-built or modified rods, reels, terminal tackle, and custom dredges are not returnable except for
a verified defect or our error.
• Use a trackable service on returns. We are not responsible for return parcels lost before they reach us.
14. Packing, Hooks, and Restricted Items
We pack hooked rigs and hook sets so points are covered and the carton can move through the mail safely. Do
not reach into a box of terminal tackle without looking — there are hooks in there.
Some items have extra shipping limits:
SWEATSHOP TACKLE Shipping Policy · sweatshoptackle.com
Sweat Shop Tackle, LLC · Jacksonville Beach, FL · Last updated September 6, 2026 Page 6 of 6
• Custom squid dredges are bulky. They may ship in their own carton, may not qualify for the cheapest
checkout method, and may need adult signature.
• Aerosols, lithium batteries, and flammables (if we ever add them) ship ground only and may be blocked
from air, Alaska/Hawaii, or international checkout.
• We do not ship live bait. Live-bait stinger rigs are terminal tackle only.
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including hurricanes and
tropical storms on the Florida coast, severe weather, carrier failures, customs actions, pandemics, labor
disputes, government orders, or utility outages. We will resume shipping as soon as we reasonably can and keep
you posted.
16. Limitation of Liability
Consistent with our Terms of Service, delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Once we hand
the products to the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to you. Our liability for any shipping issue is limited to the
amount you paid for the affected merchandise and its shipping charges. We are not liable for indirect, incidental,
or consequential damages — including a missed tournament, charter, or tide — even if we were told the date
mattered. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in those places our liability is limited to the maximum
permitted by law.
