Sweat Shop Tackle is high-end offshore gear for people who come home salt-crusted, sun-punched, and still talking about the one that ate the baits in half.

This is not a clean little tackle boutique.
It’s a tackle rigging shop that smells like hot rubber, fluorocarbon, American sweat, and the last bait a wahoo chewed on. Gear is supposed to get wet, stretched, bitten, and left on a sun-cooked deck. If your shirt isn’t stuck to your back by noon, you are not using it hard enough.

Why the name
Not a factory in another zip code. A bench that runs hot. A deck that runs hotter.

• Sweaty — sun on the gunwale, salt in the eyebrows, live bait slapping the deck. If a rig can’t survive a long, ugly, humid day on blue water, it does not leave the shop.
• Chewy — pelagics do not nibble politely. They crush, rag, and try to keep the snack. Chewy Squids and Chewy Chuggers: soft enough to get eaten, tough enough to come back for another pass.
